Hey again. I forgot to say that I would be using Lucidpress to make my magazine. The program was recommended to me. I am almost finished with my cover page I just need to insert some coverlines and decide what colors to use on some of the fonts. Here is a picture.

I also added some detail like the little bar code and a dateline.

I've decided that the title of the magazine will be Food World. So now I chose some recipes. I chose a shrimp recipe and a meat recipe to go in my double page spread. Today I made some of these recipes and I've begun taking pictures. I'm having trouble finding a good background for the pictures.  The other difficult part is making the pictures look sharp like in most food magazines. I am also working on my table of contents right now. For my cover page I will use the best picture I take.

The bibliography for the recipes are located below:

I've been having a hard time trying to figure out the name for my magazine. It's hard to grab something that hasn't already been taken.I'm trying to find something that would have my initials but that hasn't worked out.

So my magazine will be a magazine for all types of food but this edition that will be made will be mostly about mexican food. It will be mexican food because I am from Mexico and it would be easier for me to find help making the different dishes.

So I was thinking that since my magazines would be about all types of foods but would be separated into different countries by edition I would like to name the magazine something like "Food World" or "World of Food".

For myTable of contents idea

What I basically want to do is put the page numbers around pictures of kitchen utensils and dishes. So  I could basically arrange a picture  with many different utensils and take a picture. I could also paint and or draw the kitchen things.

If I decide to draw and paint I would decide to go for a look like the one in the picture below.

For the last couple of days I've been looking at food magazine to get ideas for my double page spread.  I decided to do use 2 long pictures for both pages. Those pictures are gonna be located at the top and are gonna fill the top half of both pages. The first page will have one recipe and the second will have the second recipe. The picture will have two dishes. The sides of the pages may have some pictures of the ingredients. I will figure out the color scheme of my magazine later after I take pictures of my food., so I can see why goes with the pictures best.
